The Kalkara Regatta Club was founded in 1957 and moved to the present premises in 1972.
The scope of our Club is to promote traditional rowing, provide training to rowers and participate in the National Regatta competitions held on the 8th September and the the 31st March (Freedom Day) as well as in the Youth Regatta held in summer.
The Club has embarked on an
regeneration programme with the aim of making the sport of Traditional Rowing
more accessible to the general public. We are also aiming to significantly improve the rowing experience of our athletes by creating an environment where our young rowers can not enjoy their sport, but also develop their
teamwork and leadership skills through sport in a relaxed yet competitive
environment.
If you wish to get in contact with our Club, please contact us or approach a member of our Committee.
